To Manifest Your Dreams, You Have to BECOME the Dream (By Yaz Rooney)

If you’re in the market for changing some aspect of your life for the better, there’s no better place to start than with YOU personally.

If I told you to BECOME the life that you want, what exactly does that mean? It’s simple. You can’t be a doctor if you refuse to study. You can’t be in a committed relationship if you don’t like living with other people. You can’t be independent if you won’t leave home and build a career. You have to literally MORPH into the thing you want by doing things differently and seeing things differently. YOU have to change so that the situation around you changes. If you want something badly enough, you’ll be willing to remove any obstacle that gets in the way of achieving your dreams. As I make clear on the Master’s Journey courses, the ‘obstacles’ that we face tend to be the things we are afraid to do. For example, if you want to travel the world, and you’re having difficulty doing so, you might have to confront any hidden beliefs that you have surrounding leaving family and friends behind. Read my friend’s husband’s story.

I remember my friend’s mother-in-law telling her husband early on in their relationship (when they’d talked endlessly about travelling the world) that absence does NOT make the heart grow fonder; it makes the heart colder. She said it enough times, so that when they got their first travel opportunity a few years later, my friend’s husband faced a lot of hurdles. First he became ill. Then he got into a situation where his money had to be funneled elsewhere. It was only through absolute frustration that my friend and her husband finally confronted the real issue – his acceptance of the belief his mother had planted in his head. He actually believed that he would lose his connection to family and friends. His illness, and the situation of his diminished travel fund were NOT the problem. They were the SYMPTOMS of something deeper; an unconscious belief that was serving him faithfully by creating diversions for him. Only once he’d confronted this belief and seen that it had no truth to it, did he finally get the proper opportunity to travel.

What is happening in your life right now? What is it that you want? What are you having difficulty manifesting? What is it that you refuse to change? What belief, or beliefs, get in your way of success in manifesting your dreams? Start thinking about these things so that you can manifest the life that you want.
